Besides individual presentations in different formats, there will about eight workshops offered by senior researchers (parallel sessions, each about 2.5 hours). The list of workshops that are offered will be announced during spring 2007 in the web page and by email.
JURE invites senior researchers to conduct a workshop on e.g. most recent methodological developments or topics related to graduate education (e.g. academic writing skill). Interested researchers should contact the JURE committee and express their interest in conducting the workshop. Please inform the JURE about the topic you would like to do the workshop on and your affiliation.
Guidelines for the workshop (to be included in the program):
- The title of the workshop
- A description (maximum 300 words) of the content of the workshop.
- A description of your background, affiliation.
- A list of any materials needed (PC, beamer, flap, markers etc.).
Due to budget constrains JURE will not be able to pay the conductors of the workshop. We will give each a certificate of having conducted a workshop. However, since high qualified PhD-students will participate in the workshop, conducting the workshop will be a stimulating teaching experience.
