The JURE 2007 (pre-)conference is approaching soon. We are glad so many people are going to participate in the largest JURE conference ever. This is a short message giving you relevant information concerning the conference.
Please read it immediately through because there are some parts which require your response by Wednesday 8th of August (C: Jure Dinner & D: Workshops).

NOTES TO PARTICIPANTS:
A. PROGRAM & VENUE:
JURE 2007 will take place at the Lagymanyos Campus of Eotvos Lorand University (address: 1117 Budapest, Pazmany Peter setany 1/a). It is the same venue where EARLI 2007 will take place right after JURE 2007.
The full program, the schedules and abstracts have been updated into the JURE2007 homepage. If you’re a presenter, please check your details. The program is subject to change.
B. JURE REGISTRATION:
At the moment we have 210 participants who have registered! However, there are still some presenters who have not registered to JURE2007. Please remember that JURE2007 needs to be registered into as well: EARLI2007 registration does not cover JURE2007 regardless of the shared interface (You register to JURE2007 at the same place or at the same time than to EARLI 2007 by ticking a box). Note that if a supposed presenter has not registered into JURE2007, his or her presentation will be deleted from the program assuming that the person has withdrawn from the conference.
Due to security reasons, the venue can not be accessed without a conference badge (which requires registration, naturally).
C. JURE DINNER:
Monday 27th August. At 19:00. THIS EVENT REQUIRES REGISTRATION!
JURE will organise an official (but informal) JURE dinner. The cost of the buffet dinner is 15 euros each without drinks and the participants will pay for their meals at the restaurant. Please REGISTRATE to this event by sending an email

The restaurant is located in the centre near the River Danube.
The registration DEADLINE is Wednesday 8th of August. The registration is definite.
Without registration we can not guarantee you a place in the dinner. In case of a special diet, please let us know while registering so we can make proper arrangements.
Please note that we will use public transport to get from the venue to the restaurant. We will arrange a collective departure for the dinner participants from the venue.
Note: All participants who have registered to EARLI2007 will get a “free” 7-day travel card to cover their transport in Budapest during the conference. However, the JURE2007 registration does NOT include a travel card. http://earli2007.hu/nq/home/travel_information/transportation/
Weather permitting we will also try to arrange a casual walk by the River Danube from the conference venue to the restaurant (about 3 km) for those of you interested. More details will be given at the conference.
D. WORKSHOPS:
THIS EVENT REQUIRES REGISTRATION!
On Tuesday the 27th there are 6 workshops. Because the space is limited, we can not guarantee that you’ll be able to get into the workshop of your primary choice.Please send a message to implicate 3 choices in an order of preference. The registration DEADLINE is Wednesday 8th of August.

2. Video-observation in research on teaching
3. Writing Scientific Articles into International Educational Journals
4. Phenomenography as an educational research methodology
5. Analysing Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning Processes (2 rooms)
Note: After a general introduction this workshop will divide into a quantitative and a qualitative orientation group. Bringing your own data and laptop is advisable. Please let us know which orientation you wish to join and if you’ll be bringing your data with you.

E. PRESENTERS/PRESENTATIONS:

POSTERS: The max size of the poster is 1 m width, 2 m height. The material of the panel is textile-covered EPS-foam and there will be pins available if needed.
F. MEALS & BREAKS
The conference fee covers the LUNCH on Monday 27th provided by EARLI and the coffee during breaks. However, on TUESDAY 28th, the lunch is NOT covered by your JURE2007 registration.
